How The Ilum collects, uses and protects the personal data of prospective and enrolled students.
What we collect
Contact details you give us when you enquire or enrol, the qualifications you ask us to assess for exemptions, and the study and assessment data generated as you use the platform.
How we use it
To answer your enquiry, assess exemptions, deliver teaching and marking, and produce the readiness analytics shown in your account. We do not sell personal data or pass it to third parties for marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for 24 months. Enrolled student records, including assessment history, are kept for six years after your last active sitting so that we can evidence your progress if you need it.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to admissions@theilum.com and we will respond within one month.
